PRISMA Queer Film Festival Returns to Cork This August 30-31

The second edition of PRISMA, Cork’s dedicated queer film festival, is set to take place at the Arc Cinema from August 30-31.

Presented by Out of Frame Cork, PRISMA celebrates LGBTQ+ voices in cinema through a vibrant weekend of feature films, short screenings, panel discussions, and industry events. The festival also partners with local community projects, aiming to foster inclusivity and amplify underrepresented stories both on and off screen.

Building on the success of its debut year, PRISMA continues to champion diverse perspectives within the film industry while creating a welcoming space for audiences and creators alike.

This year’s programme will spotlight a curated selection of contemporary queer cinema from Ireland and around the world, alongside conversations with filmmakers, workshops, and community-focused collaborations designed to spark dialogue and connection.
